I know this is a very delayed post. For that matter the whole blog has been on hold. But hopefully life is in enough balance now that I can get back to posting regularly. Look for exciting new posts about Eurobike, Interbike, 12 Hours of Sundance, 24 Hours of Moab and so much more!
I’m sure most of you already know. But I wanted to send my regards. Mike Aitken (a huge BMX rider) was seriously injured Sunday the 5th while in Pennsylvania riding with some friends. Mike over rotated a 360 and went down on his head. He has been in a coma for the last week and is now finally starting to make some progress. He is now starting to open his eyes and focus for a moment on individuals. This is great news, and it means Mike is almost ready to come home.
Mike, his wife and son live here in Utah, SLC to be exact. So as a local please remember him in your prayers. Mike doesn’t have any insurance so any help to them is also much appreciated.
